BEST "LEXUS" SITE? Club Lexus VS Others?
There are multiple Lexus Club Sites online and was wondering what you guys or girls think about the other sites? Theses sites include lexusforum.com, lexusownersclub.com, planetlexus.com, club.lextasy.com and My IS. It seems all these sites were receiving a lot of traffic but now it seems like Club Lexus is the main site now.
What made Lexus Owners flock to Club Lexus?

What made me flock to CL?
The people that I have gotten to know both online and in person If you compare CL to any other forum, there is really a sense of community here - something you don't really find elsewhere.
I have made friends on the forum that I have not only talked with online and at met up with at meets/shows, but also outside of CL events.
Even if in the future, I happen to not own a lexus, I will still be on CL posting away, and coming to meets

I googled "Lexus forum" and it was the first link, I only registered because I was waiting for my IS, and asking where can I complain since the dealership sucks. I purchased the car and I was thinking what's with everyone modding the car, it's stupid, original parts are much nicer. Then I became one of them lol, I'm addicted and broke. Which is a good thing I think.
I have seen the other forums, it isn't as active as Club Lexus.

I think Club Lexus is the one of the most active if not the most active site! I know the BMW site's are pretty active but it seems like it's the same 10 guys posting.

When I first got my SC, there was nothing out there... Damn, there was barely an internet! Finally my warranty and extended warranty ran out and when I typed in Lexus, CL was the first site to pop up. The main thing thatmakes this forum the best are it's members. Extremely tolerant, knowledgeable, and willing to help out when they can. I still remember NELOC bbqs and other meets. Also moderators do an outstanding job of keeping things civil and on topic, this along with zero tolerance for flame wars keep the riffraff away. I spend most of my time on car chart now and will be returning long after (if ever) I stop owning a Lexus.

When the IS300 was out everyone was on is300.net, now its called my.is or something.
Once the ISX50 came out I switched over here and this forum seemed to get a lot more popular as well after the release of the ISX50.

Each of the Lexus communities have their own strengths, and also their own unique personality & attributes which different people find attractive. Many (including myself) belong to several of them.
Here at CL we've tried to foster a sense of community and we value organization, polite conversation and mature disagreement. We value the various backgrounds, experience and diversity of our membership. Our forum is relatively heavily moderated to help support those ideals and ethics, and to protect our membership. I recognize that doesn't sit well with everyone and that's why I'm thankful those other communities exist where they might find a 'home'.
Lol - they'll actually be here soon But let's not turn this thread into a sticker request list please.

There's some great Lexus forums out there, they have their positives/negatives, but in the end they contribute to the global body of knowledge. I know two forums that I follow in Russia (via Google Translate) that do an outstanding job on the Lexus RX/Toyota Harrier and other Lexus models,
club-lexus.ru, http://translate.google.com/translat...ub-lexus.ru%2F
drom.ru Toyota Harrier/Highlander/Kluger/Lexus RX forum, http://translate.google.com/translat...ums.drom.ru%2F
Keep in mind that many Toyota forums (due to the overlap in certain hardware found on Toyota and Lexus vehicles) are also popular areas. I regularly take a look at www.solaraguy.com because they do a lot of performance modification the 1MZ-FE engine similar to the one in my RX300. I also take a look at the Camry forums over on www.toyotanation.com for the same reason.
Of the sites you mentioned, CL does have the highest ranking on Alexa, www.alexa.com (there is a toolbar you can download that they have for both IE and Firefox that shows the ranking for each page you visit).
As of October 20, 2011:
Club Lexus: 28,152
Lexus Owners Club: 124,861
my.IS: 143,683
Club Lextasy: 831,477
Lexus Forum: 1,399,130
Planet Lexus: 2,858,914
CL actually is incidentally higher than any Toyota forum I could find (somebody correct me if I am wrong).
