I lurked many of the sites for Lexus, Benz and BMW to do my research on what SUV to buy. What I found is that although other Lexus sites may have more registered members, they do not have nearly as many people posting and it all seems to be the same subject..

Here at Club Lexus you have many different people posting and many more who are willing to help and without making anyone feel silly, unimportant or just plain unimportant. It was from the information I garnered here that lead me to make my decision to purchase a Rx 450H.

I saw the same thing! I was looking at the Lexus ISF and BMW M3 and decided on the Lexus ISF. When I was looking at the forums, Club Lexus was more of a un-bias forum compared to say BMW and more nicer people. When you go the a BMW forum it seems they are toooo much into themselves while Lexus members were willing to be open-minded.

This site help me pick the ISF over the M3 and I never looked back!

Like RASH said i googled Lexus Forums and CL popped up.. Back in 2004 there were a lot less members but still an active community at that time.. I'm not even registered or venture to other Lexus sites. This is by far the best Lexus site and I'll continue to come here in the years to come. We have a sense of maturity here and level that is far above the rest.. Hence the 164k+ members...

Of course member of CL will obviously say CL is best. CL by far more civilized and sophisticated than any other car forum I know because most Lexus owners aren't tools like other car owners. When I got my X5 two years ago I joined bimmerforums and most of the people on there are snobby axxholes that's why I don't even go on anymore. CL is by far the most informative. For instance, I started a thread asking a question I cant remember now but all the responses were "STFW!!!!" (Search the f'ing web). Ive learned so much on CL and I plan to be on this forum for a lonnnggg time.

I bought my car in december, I was on mbworld.org before (great forum compared to the BMW guys).
I googled "is350 intake" and well..... 4 rehabs later and many nights sleeping on the couch, am still here lol

I was a member of is300.net around 02-04, mostly reading and lurking.

Then around 2009 when I was in the market for a 2IS, I guess is300.net turned into my.is? And I hated how the 1IS and 2IS threads in the same section, it was very hard to find the information I was looking for, very disorganized imo.

So I looked for alternative sources of information and found here.

I've been on a few forums in the past, but none have been as active as Clublexus (and so i've never been as active on any forum as i have been on CL lol) The amount of information you can find here for your car is great, i don't think i've ever NOT been able to get an answer yet about anything dealing with my Lexus. But the best part is definitely the members, there are some great people on here, and if you've ever been to a meet its always fun to meet other members and its great how friendly and knowledgeable most members are on here.
