OMG, how dare they do that! The cars probably sell at 1/3 of the price of the real ones. The quality probably is as cheap as it can be, but posers don't care.

Being Chinese myself, this bothers me greatly .

 

i have sat in one Gen2 Rav4 copy by Great Wall.... it was 50m on the showroom after real Rav4 and it had 20k Price vs real one being 35k. It looked around 95% the same.

Then you open the doors... lol.
- doors couldnt close, door frame metal would hit door
- window on doors rattled a lot when closed, as if they hit metal (like in old frameless coupe doors, except they had full frame and were fully up)
- you sit down as if you were in sports car and your knees end up above your stomach :-).
- complete interior looked like a joke... and wasnt a copy of rav4's, it had big 7" screen that looked like it came from some toy store with $5 price tag.


at the end, they were not that cheaper... it is not like they were selling them for $5k.
