I don't know if it's wishful thinking or a senior moment but when I was leaving Home Depot I thought I saw something familiar. It was a Lexus logo on the front of a white lawn tractor - I had to get a closer look...
Is a cool looking emblem. If you look closely, you will see the Corners for the "C" for Cub Cadet. I see this all the time; company I drive for is a logistics supplier for MTD (makers of cub cadet, lawn boy, etc). It will throw you, as a rebadge, if you just glance at it for a min.

Yup, many of the brand-name low-end riding mowers at Home Depot and other big-box stores are made by MTD. The quality of those units is much lower than the "real" higher-end versions of those brands sold at independent lawn equipment dealers.
11 years ago, I shattered my heel and still can't easily walk my lawn to mow it (and be expected to walk the next day). I searched for, and found, a used Deere 318 garden tractor which were made from 1983-1992. It's way more tractor than I need for a 1/3 acre lot, but it's built like a tank and (important for me) has all hand controls except for the rarely used brakes. In addition to a 50" mowing deck, it came with a 48" single-stage snow thrower and 48" hydraulic rear tiller. I added a 48" blade that uses the tractor's dual hydraulics to lift and angle the blade. Moving snow with the blade is fun, but not nearly as fast as using the blower.
Now that my son is a homeowner, I saw him staring longingly at my 318 when he was visiting over the Labor Day weekend. We had a good laugh at his new interest in lawn and garden equipment.
Needs to be lowered, look at the fender gap. Also needs to have lower profile tires.
Hey, throw on some 15x8 on there with those low pro's, some retrofit projectors would do you some good too. A carbon fiber blade cover should shave a few pounds off, improve the handling and add some detail.
