Default New Mercedes commercials

I think MB has some pretty neat commercials lately. I was quite impressed yesterday when I was flipping channels and saw the C coupe one

lol the C coupe one basically summarizes their design efforts. Take the sedan and just rip off the rear doors

Is this their first take on a C class coupe?

I still think the interior looks like ****.

Commercial was ok, the 2nd one was cool with what they did with the camera going through the car.

At least they're not bashing on Lexus.

Well, they are all C-class. The 3 series coupe is basically "two doors ripped off the sedan" design. The IS-C is basically 2 doors and a roof ripped off design (although something went wrong there). Nothing wrong with taking two doors off the sedan if it works, and it works here. I believe the CLK was basically a C-class coupe back when it was around.

The interesting thing is that the C-Coupe has the exact same exterior dimensions (length and everything) as the sedan.

the IS sedan and IS C only share door handles and the hood. nothing else is the same. The three series also looks different enough. The C class is quite literally has the same front and rear ends.

There was the w203 c class coupe but that was such a failure. It was more of a 3 door hatch. And if you think that interior looks bad, then what did you think of it before the facelift?

I learn something new everyday.

The old CLK was based off of the E class but used C class styling.

Actually, it was based off the C class but they charged near E class prices for it. The new E coupe is also based off the C class.

The 3 and the IS may not share everything between the 2 and 4 door variants but their similarities and differences are no more/less than the C coupe and sedan. It is hard for people to note significant differences between the 2 and 4 door variants of any of the cars mentioned.
