Thanks for putting the photos up I think they illustrate my point even more. Yaris? Quirky? On which planet? Good little cars, reliable and you can always get a very cheap finance deal on them, but they always do feel like they are built down to a price. Sit in a Fiesta or a Polo, or even a Corsa and they feel like they are a whole grade above in terms of quality.

"its a car" tagline is dumb

Interior is fine, not sure what people are griping about. I actually like it to the Fiesta/Rio transformer interiors. All 3 seem good to me.

Drivetrain/engine is disappointing, no getting around that.

Another great new product from Toyota Motor. GS, Camry, Yaris in the recent introductions have not disappointed me, they all exceeds their respective predecessors in many ways. Although their designs are still a bit conservative, but that's what Toyota is about. Hyundais' flowing lines would catch your eyeballs for a while but they get old pretty quickly. I reckon Hyundai's designs would feel dated in two three years, but not Toyota's.

well i dont feel like Yaris is competitive in the US, due to high yen and resulting pricing and engines... but in Europe, it certainly is...
