Default Good 350z or Nissan forums?

I'm looking for an active forum for 350's. I've been quite active with CL and my GS and really didnt pay much attention to Z, I've joined a few forums to get info for the Z, but they arent very active and informative as CL is.

Does anyone know of any good sites that I can use for reference for issues and maintenance and what not? Thanks

Have you tried this one?

http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/Web...san&model=350Z

Edmunds has a very large base of car owners of virtually every make/model, and they do a lot of on-line chat.

A number of 350Z owners, of course, got burned with shoddy interior parts that loosened and fell off and/or defective suspension/alignment settings that caused bad tire-wear and a lot of road-noise. Nissan replaced a lot of 350Z tires under warranty.

Wow really (tire thing) yea, I cant believe how these tires wear! They say it has to do with the design of the suspension and that its suppose to give better handling... But if they're replacing tires (from what you heard) then my local dealership is blowing hot air! BASTARDS! They did do an alignment under warranty (just to state that its fine) and yea road noise sucks, I thought it was a tire thing. Man, would be nice to find out that these fools lied and I DO have a defect so I can get a whole new suspension

I kept the interior in pristine condish since rolling off the showroom floor so I guess I'm lucky with that part.

thanks for the suggestions

Yea, I didnt 'try' If I didnt try, then why am I a member of more than one?

either way, I believe I have the right to ask for preferred forums.

The suspension tire/recalls and extended-warranty may or may not apply to your specific vehicle....it depends on the VIN. Check with your Nissan Service-Manager or Nissan Customer Service. Some companies (and this may be the case with you) simply go ahead and cover things out of warranty anyway.....they call that a Good-Will action.

Keeping the interior like new, cleanliness-wise, doesn't do much good if you have shoddy-parts that simply wear and fall-off. That was often (not always) the case with the 1Gen 350Z....I don't remember if there were any campaigns/recalls on it, since it was generally not considered a safety-issue.

thanks for the suggestions
No problem.....that's what we're here for on Car Chat.
