It depends at least partly on the vehicle, too. For instance, not many people in the American market are likely to care much about what the next Mitsubishi Galant or Endeavor is going to be like (in fact, those two might not even be offered here any more). By contrast, the next Camry, Accord, or F-150 is going to affect hundereds of thousands of potential buyers just in the first year alone.....not to mention the years after that.
