The 1990 ES250 was probably not the best Lexus product, at the time, to push the idea of "perfection". Unlike later ES models, it was simply a rebadged Camry with a little extra-trim....which, of course, doesn't make it a bad car by any means, but it certainly was not the equal of the far superior LS400.
