Question Anyone got info. on shipping of cars to southeast Asia/Vietnam

Does anyone have a connection/contact for shipping of cars/containers overseas?

I am interested in shipping a few cars/container to Vietnam.

It would be the Oakland Port or San Francisco Port in the USA, then land in Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam is usually a midpoint for US cars to enter China.

I don't know what are your plans and I don't want to know but if someone comissioned you to take a lot of cars "only" to Vietnam they probably will do the paper manipulation for taxing purposes and import them to China where they sell them for big bucks.

If your sense tells you that might be the case ask for more money, or if they want a lot of MB, RR, BMW SUVs than you should be sure that's the case.

If you ever ship from southeast I will be more than happy to help you.

Per container rates from USWC to Asia is about 3100 per FEU (forty foot containers), so about half that for a twenty foot unit. Then you need a customs broker to do all the paper work for you which is about like another 100 per container unit.
