1989 Toyota Camry V6. I like to think of it as my first Lexus since the old ES 250 was essentially the same car.

1971 Firebird Formula 455 $1000. carpet & console missing. Starter solenoid bad so to start car had to stick long skinny screwdriver between header tubes to jump solenoid terminals, often grounding battery on headers causing sparks to fly. Learned how to replace starter about 6 months later so I could start car from inside the car, but missed the race car feel of having to raise hood to start car.

My 93 SC300 was my first car. Got it from my dad in 1995 after he thought the ride was too rough and got himself the LS. I was spoiled. I admit it. LOL

I guess the first car i ever actually got was a 1995 Mercury Villager. Had it for 6 months, it was my moms old car. I learned to drive on it and later it was given to me while i saved up some money.

Had 270,000 miles on it when i got it, original motor & transmission. Outside of normal maintenance the only thing that needed to be replaced was the radiator at around 150K. We stopped doing oil changes on it around 250,000 miles, figured we were gonna junk it soon after lol. Finally crapped out at just under 280,000 miles and needed a new head gasket. Donated the car away and to my amazement saw that bish driving down the freeway past me a couple years ago with the same damage on the side it had since 2000

I was so amazed it ran for so long, i wanted to ask the lady how many miles were on it when i saw it a couple years ago

A beat up '60 Pontiac Catalina convertible with no reverse when it was hot or was it when it was cold?

1986 Honda Civic standard . The thing had a 55 hp 1.3 liter motor and a 4 speed (weighed 2311 lbs). Just makes me appreciate my LS460 that much more. ( 380 hp 8 speed that weighs in at about 4300 lbs)

Now I really feel old... 1st car was a 1952 Pontiac Chieftan Straight 8, body by boiler plate and brakes by hope and dream..... 0-60 in hours. Cruised nicely though. It did however have a huge back seat!

My first was a 1964 Plymouth Valiant with the slant-6 engine and the push button transmission. Yeah, I was burning up the high school parking lot in that baby!

NOT.

1969 Pontiac LeMans. The GTO wanna-be. and to add insult to injury, it was brown.
