Certain Audi's have really grown on my over the years. I really like the R8 and the A/S5. I just like 2 doors more than 4 doors I guess. I'd still pick the Bimmer though aside from the R8.

Love Audi and really miss having one. I hope the next IS is really something spectacular, because I've been pining for an A4 recently. Torn between the two marques.

And here in Europe I see more older Audis on the road than I see older Toyotas.

So what that does that tell us?

Don't immediately fall for an ad. That's exactly what the marketers want you to do...buy on impulse (that's why they spend big money on ads). Go to an Audi dealer or auto show and check out their line-up or the car you're interested in, then decide if it is the car for you or not.

That's one reason why I do stem-to-stern auto reviews, BTW.....to help people decide if they like a vehicle or not without big-money ads or a bunch of sales pressure.

Oh no don't get me wrong. I know it's an ad and that's what it's supposed to do. I'm not even in the market for a car right now. Just saying how this video is pretty awesome.

whatever floats your boat. the 20 yr old toyota probably won't have airbags or anti-lock brakes, or any newer safety inventions, but yes, it will likely crank and move providing it's been reasonably maintained.

Only issue with our 3 year 07 Q7 Lease, was that three door handles stopped working for the keyless locking(touching an area on the handle) and engine light went on but by the time we got a code reader the light went off and their was no code and it never came on again.

The Q7 was a great car.

FWIW, any luxury car maker could make such a commercial. A high standard, extensive testing, and tight tolerances are industry standards now. Audi just happen to film it and make it into a commercial.

They should be sued what a complete rip-off.
