The term “squid” was derived from the typical motorcycle-riding behavior of new, unskilled sportbike riders: an inexplicable squirt of speed followed by an equally inexplicable bout of slowness.

But, it’s become a catch all term for bad riding behavior or more testosterone than sense. A such, I feel this video really sums things up.

I was more disturbed he was doing it on pavers, if someone did that on my pavers I would shoot them on site.

 

I generally think of a squid as someone who rides like a tool AND doesn't gear up. The guy in the video (which has been circulating various moto forums lately) is just a dumba$$.
