Lots of people aren't automatic fans until they have to deal with THIS:

Buy one already modded with most of what you want. As my friend MikeC would say. Pay once, cry once

That I totally agree Mmarshall.
As much as I wanted to get the manual, I love the auto just for that alone.

That does help alot. I almost got the one that is supercharged already.

There's another saying that I like "buy now, cry later"

I just realized the awesome red calipers

How does the car shift? Smooth? Abrupt? early-mid 90s Honda v6 auto seems to shift hard, mostly due to broken transmission mounts. Any problems with yours?

In a way, the auto trans is a blessing, A factory clutch Job from an Acura Dealer will set you back close to 2500 parts/labor btw...so yea.

I suppose you won't even consider taking the NSX out where you expect to encounter traffic like that Otherwise, what's the point ?You would be better off in the LS430

Man, I saw a sweetly modded NSX yesterday. It was electric blue, dropped, wide wheels out back, shiny lips...looked showroom beautiful.
I think I'm in love again.

I just got back from lunch with my friend who owns a 91 NSX, he let me drive it back. What an incredible machine. Even though its 20 years old now, this car is still fantastic. I love the way the engine sounds at high RPM (I didn't rev all the way to 8k). This model only had the 5 speed stick in stead of the later 6 speed models, but still has an excellent shifter. The lack of power steering took some getting used to though.

Super clean purchase, congratulations. Though many bash them for being underpowered, they do well for what they have. A guy shows up at our car meet with a claimed 700+ hp.

Clean!!

I didn't even know the NSX had the option for an auto. This car turns heads! I see a few where I live... but still a rare sight. I got spanked by one... just wanted to see how well I could keep up.

I believe the auto has less HP, around 250-260 or so.

The auto is rated st 252 HP based on the old SAE rating. It did the 1/4 mile in 14 seconds flat. 0-60 right around 5.9-6.0

Yeah it's underpowered in current times...But you got to think what it was when it came out. It was a plenty fast car back then. It's also a Honda; you can do all sorts of F/I on it.
