I posted this at TN, so I thought that maybe the CL crew here might find it interesting, too. An apples to apples comparison of the 1991 Camry LE vs. the 2011 Camry LE (some pics it's of an '09, but you get the gist of it). Amazing how much design has changed in the last 20 years, huh?

Was bored and saw these pictures online and thought it would make a great apples to apples comparison of the Camry of 20 years ago and the one produced today. An Indigo Blue Metallic 1991 LE vs. a 2011 (it's an '09, you get the idea) Blue Ribbon Metallic LE. It's astonishing to me how much design has changed in the last 20 years.

My family had an early 90s V6 LE model when I was younger. It also had the blue velour interior....

i really hate those light gray american interiors

 

You're not the only one. They got the same colors, or something similar to the gray, in the Lexus line up, and I don't dig it. Black is the way to go, or Beige.

 

Brings back memories. 91 camry LE v6 was our second car in America (first car was 85 Accord). Great car! Once I drove few miles without any coolant but engine was ok. Back when I was young and stupid I thought my camry was fast lol.

 

black only for me... maybe seats in saddle or red, just not tan... Toyota tan is just such boring color.

 

I hate hate hate the interior color choices on today's cars. Black, grey, more grey, tan. What ever happend to having a blue interior or a red one? I would pay extra for a car with a Blue interior again. Get on it, Toyota.

expensive cars have them... when cheap ones do, usually doesnt look as good.
