While they have expanded their lineups, the Germans have done it more so. They need more offerings.
Agreed on all points. I think however if the hybrids are tuned for economy, then the top models HAVE to be economic relative to their competitors for similar HP numbers.

Agreed as well, though I think in the US they ought to limit Diesels to the GX and LX. Europe could well do with a better IS diesel and a Proper GS diesel to go with the Hybrid.

Also, I think the need to win the HP/Weight ratio war, not the out right HP war
