Default AutoExpress - CLS 350 vs. A7 Sportback vs. Panamera

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carrevi...vs_rivals.html

1st - Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 The original CLS set the four-door coupé template. New car follows its curvy lead, but is the only true saloon in this test.

2nd - Audi A7 Sportback Rakish lines, hatch practicality and 4WD give strong appeal.

3rd - Porsche Panamera Does thrilling driving experience justify saloon’s hefty price?[/b]

I knew about Panamera V6 but not about CLS V6 for US market (yes I know this a UK article). CLS is my fave. Cool article, thanks for posting it here.

Looks alone: CLS.

Whole package: CLS.

However, Panamera Turbo S > CLS 63 AMG.

The Panamera is not a good looking car on the page of a magazine ( like the GTR) but in person I think it looks amazing. The rear takes some time to get used to but overall I think the Panamera is growing on me more and more

hard choice between the CLS and Panamera. Both look good IMO. the Audi rear looks hideous

Its tough choice between the A7 and CLS, I haven't seen the A7 in person but it looks great in the pictures.

IMHO, MB killed the CLS, it was such a great looking car.

IMO, the CLS is on-target. I would really like to see the D.I. V6 offered in the US too.

I think the Audi has the most balanced and pleasing overall design, but the CLS also looks great in real life. They're all over Stuttgart and they're quite elegant and sporty-looking in person.

Not a fan of the Panamera at all.

I would never own any of these but I would probably lean on the Panamera, in person its really sharp and I like it. The new CLS reminds me of the Nissan Maxima for some reason.

i dont think anyone serious would seriously put A7 on their list when cross-shoping for CLS or Panamera.
