makes sense to put this into the brand as Scion isn't getting much sales. Toyota needs to inject some life into Scion. Good move for company. But bad for those who care about the badge. Me included.

Lets see. We are supposed to be automobile enthusiasts, concept cars are celebrated and have always been a huge part of the show scene.

I applaud concepts from everyone. Some are real crazy, some are production ready.

concepts are cool but its a bit frustrating because the real vehicle will never look like the concept.........in most cases. I dont usually waist my time with concept cars ( unless its something as special as the sesto elemento)

So there is a concept double standard when Toyota/Lexus is involved? Concepts are concepts and are supposed to be exciting. If people are getting frustrated with concepts maybe they need a hug?

Its a concept! Its supposed to be for the imagination! Many times it leads to the future of a car of its design. Concept cars have been around forever and I hope car brands continue to make them, especially for kids and young people that have something to dream about.

I don't see why there is a double standard. One is more revolutionary than the other. Its not always about disrespect to Toyota. I agree that concepts are the future, but that is when I will be really interested in the model....in the future when it becomes a reality and the designs and technology actually are applied to the newest models being released. Its nice to know what direction they may be going in but as we all know not everything or every idea will be applied or become a reality.
