3 Blink Turn Signal
Would be nice for Lexus vehicles to have that feature.I had it on a BMW I owned and it was great for lane changes.Seems German vehicles have the feature and I read on another forum, the '11 Hyundai Elantra has the feature.
toyota/lexus was always slow with "gimmicks" like this... i think CT200h is first Lexus/Toyota that I know, that has emergency lights turn on automatically when you brake really hard... Renault started adding this to their models in 2004 I think.

2010+ ls460 has this feature i believe
anything before that, nada. i also have it in my m3, very good stuff. you totally get used to it in no time. then every time i drive my gs350 i end up blinking only once and then change lane @_@

a little harder push and it will stay on until you flip it back to off. just like most other stuff on luxury vehicles, these are stuff people can live without. but also why they are "luxury"
That makes sense. I am used to that feature in my M3, and pleasantly found out that my dad's LS460 has it too. So, I thought all the LS has it, but his is 2010. My brother 2010 RX350 does not have that feature nor my old IS350. yup, so I know what you are talking about when you said blinking only once. hahah
Almost all new vehicles, today, have the "Lane-Change" feature on the stalk that flashes the turn-signal when you press lightly on the stalk, without clicking the stalk in place. The moment you let up on the light finger-pressure, the stalk automatically springs back to the center-position and the blinking stops. So what does it matter if it flashes only 3 times or until you let up on the stalk with the finger-pressure?In fact, I'd rather have it that way...determing for myself how long the flashers stay on while changing lanes, rather than only 3 flashes at a time.
What's the difference?

IMO (having used it in several Benzes both owned and driven), it's not that big of a deal in terms of added value.
When shopping for a daily driver recently I was able to check it out on the new Elantra. Nice feature, but being old school I'd probably forget to use it regularly and just told the lever down manually.
