I get Car & Driver,Motor Trend,Road & Track and AutoWeek and like Car&Driver the best.
I'd say Autoweek is not Lexus friendly.

LOL!

I was about to post that.

C&D are Honda/Bimmer fappers. AutoWeek is for the American Big Three; it's pro-union and pro-Nascar. MotorTrend is a bit better. Road & Track is also more balanced.

When in doubt, trust Top Gear.

No doubt C&D absolutely loves BMW.
It's funny how magazine subscriptions lapse and you still get issues for free or you renew for $6 a year.

C&D is my choice, not concerned about Lexus friendly.

I agree! Most magazines are too biased for me to even care... You want real opinions, that's why there is the internet!

C&D to me is much better then Motortrend. Motortrend photography is not that great and the layout is not as nice as Car and Driver. Motor Trend can and used to have a big pro American car bias but it is not as bad as it used to be.

Not sure what you mean by "Lexus friendly" whether it is Lexus coverage or just favorable reviews? If you want to just read favorable Lexus reviews good luck finding a car mag that likes Lexus cars and the way they drive, most don't seem to care for Lexus cars or the way they drive as they prefer sporty cars and driver involvement but they do normally admire Lexus for quality and reliability. If you want a magazine that gives good Lexus reviews then read Consumer Reports.

Lexus cars like the ES350, current GS, and LX receive little to no coverage or comparisons in Motortrend or C&D in the last several issues I have read.

C&D gets criticized for being too BMW friendly but then again most mags seem to prefer the way BMWs drive and handle including Motortrend.

+1 to this. I'd had subscriptions to all three, Automobile is by far the best - their opinion articles are often controversial but always provoke interesting discussion, and Ezra Dyer has a talent for humor.

They talk about much more than just cars, but about car culture, market trends, management direction, etc etc. They also discuss car design, rather than just the end products.

They also are not afraid to rip on a car they think is a poor product, whereas MotorTrend seems to choose between light praise and heavy praise.
