Your boys in blue in NH use some OLD equipment. But I guess if it ain't broke they're not gonna fix it. . . maybe that's why CA's government is in so much debt. Just be glad you guys don't have speed cameras yet.

But even with the lidar traps, you'll still get tagged plenty of times with good old Ka band.

Also Lidar units are expensive.

I was originally from and born in CA. It was a joke! CHP is near non-existent in Socal, when compared to the SF bay area. Just go out at 3AM and notice all the drunk drivers! That kinda lax enforcement doesn't exist even in countries where u can bribe law enforcement!

I have stock rims and tires, but am on F-springs. My front tires are quite worn, but as someone pointed out, that would create an opposite situation with my speedo reading too fast instead of too slow.

One thing I thought was strange is if it was his radar reading on his last hit, he must have taken it far earlier. I met up with him as he was getting off the freeway. So I can't imagine he clocked someone on the freeway doing 45 (late at night). He must have found someone before he got on the freeway and didn't clear it.
