New Tint!
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on tint yesterday, For $80 I got the 2 front windows in 20% to match the rear factory and the brow is 5%. It looks fantastic. Film is Llumar.

The only drawback right now is not being able to roll down my window at the gate of the Army base everyday, but hopefully itll be dry in a week. Oh, and I gotta put my window vent visors back on, but no biggie.

Looking good. In CA my preference is to go no darker than 35% to minimize annoying stops by cops, even though I do have a cop in the family that will sign-off if necessary.

Tinting around here is done all year, all seasons. I noticed that in winter it takes longer to dry but the end result is the same. I had my Lexus done in November 2008, no problems since.

That looks great! Nice truck too!
I just had my SC300 done with 5% tint up front and 2.5% in the rear last month and it's taking forever to completely dry because it's been so cold lately. You should be able to roll down the windows after a week, but you may have a few bubbles left.
It's best to tint in the spring and summer from my experience.

Great looking truck, Josh! My wife had her van done in matching tints a few years ago and it really helps keep the interior cool - that and the Dynamat in the roof . . . A large glass/accessories shop did the work, but they cut the eyebrow tint on the windshield WAY too low. Fine for her, but I had to duck a little to see out from under it.
A cop stopped her within a couple of weeks and explained those marks on the windshield were the limit for the tint (no ticket, nice guy). She took it back to the shop and the manager nearly blew a fuse - apologized all over the place, stripped and reapplied the tint for free within a few minutes. Of all people, they should have known.

Yes, the line marked "AS-1" is the limit for the tint. it only has to meet it in a 1 inch area though, anywhere on the film, as long as 1 inch or more is at or above that line. Mine is below the line at the sides, but at the line in the middle
