I don't see this happening. I mean I love apple products and all but I don't see this being a smart move. Apple puts out new stuff like every 6 months I can't imagine myself buying a car with outdated products just because the car has been sitting on the lot for 6 months... then eventually it becomes dead inventory and has to be basically given away....

The LFA's dash already has a 7-inch screen and is far from plain looking. The next iPad is rumored to come with a 7-inch version, which, if true, would make it a perfect match to the LFA's dash design IMO.

The last questionnaire I filled out with them had questions that made it seem that they were thinking about going with Nokia's "Terminal Mode" (which is device agnostic, will work on Nokia and could work with Android and iphone) or a more advanced version of Apple's "Ipod Out" programs.

I hope they go with something like those two I mentioned. Those solutions can be easily upgraded and are far more advanced than the oem alternative.

I highly doubt this rumor, too many problems would arise from this.

Here it is, what will most likely be the new oem system.
I don't know what the backbone of this is, but it says it will work with most smartphones

"with the Entune infotainment system offering Bluetooth, a host of mobile apps and the ability to read-back and replay text messages"

^I like that. I guess this is what my cousin meant. CES is only 2 days away, so I can't wait to see some video footage of people actually using it.

Obviously, the smart phone of choice was the iPhone, so does that mean we're gonna be able to download entunes from itunes now?
