Well I still have alot of stuff I want to do. My goal is to get it running. I would say around 2 weeks. Then I will start looking into wheels. Depending on what wheel I go with is when it will be finished.

This has got to be the most incredible do-it-yourself project I've ever seen here on CL. Simply awe inspiring! Love it!

Thanks for the kinds words guys. Lots of pics on this update:

Got the front subframe back up and the front motor mount brace. Also installed the steering rack and front swaybar.

Should have more updates tomorrow if the Mitusbishi guy shows up.

Can't wait either, but I don't want to rush it. Taking my time and doing it right. I think the wheels I am looking at are going to be sick on the car. Alittle aggressive, but nothing crazy.

Alittle work today. Installed the new transmisson mount. Also got the new oil pan in and installed that.

Out with the old.

In with the new.

Oil pan. Had to remove the drive shaft to install oil pan.

Tomorrow I am hoping to get the coilovers and the lower control arms installed.

i'm not sure what is more impressive -- the restoration, or the chronicle of the restoration. that is a lot of love for a non-collectible. kudos!
