GM to Dump Mr. Goodwrench
Apparently, GM's Mr. Goodwrench service mark is to be replaced by Chevrolet Certified Cervice, GMC Certified Service, Buick..., and Cadillac...
IMO, this is taking their brand emphasis too far. The Goodwrench brand equity is strong and they are basically telling all their Pontiac, Saturn, and Olds owners that they aren't important anymore. By keeping a corporate-wide service message, they would do a better job keeping those past customers in the fold.
