Lead Lap
Wow that must've been scary. I saw the video awhile back where the same car spins out trying to slow down.
I cringed when I saw that car spin out after every run on a video I was watching, now I'm sure the Gallardo needs better downforce if it's going to make high speed runs like this. It simply gets way too light when the throttle is lifted.

wow! cars can be replaced and rebuilt, but it was good to hear that the driver was able to walk away from it all. safety cannot be overlooked one bit.
Lexus Test Driver
Wow, saw this first on autoweek, it's a shame the car got destroyed, but it and the safety equipment did it's job and kept the driver safe.

SW is a wealthy individual that owns every car imaginable to man! He's very popular in the performance game, especially in the Supra world. This Gallardo however was not his, nor was he driving. He ran his Supra and clocked 238mph on his first run and the parachute didn't open, he went off course and broke his diff which killed his plans to break some records at the mile this year. I guess he has to wait until March at TX2K11 to try again.
