I'd assume ferrari driver is toast... ..... ..... didn't look like he ever got out....

 

I remember this. There's another longer clip where they show the Ferarri driver either getting out himself or some rescue workers getting him out. It didn't really show what came of him, but I think he looked like he would be okay.

this video is motoring forums legend. If i remember correctly, the Japanese driver of the ferrari happened to be one of the best Ferrari racers in Japan. The poor fella had horrfic burns and successfully sued the organisers for around 850,000 US dollars (which is a huge payout for Japan) for going ahead with the race despite conditions. Google it and i'm sure you'll find the original article.

 

yeah saw this video some while ago, it's posted here too... i thought it's the porsche driver who sued? either way, it was horrifying
