both commercials are good but i have to say the IS commercial is great!
the market is fierce, and lexus can only hold so much before they have to do the obvious to try maintain their position. fact is, they are no longer the one challenging others, they are being challenged quite a bit too

I never saw a commercial with Lexus taking jabs at other cars in it's segments. I guess the slower sales has forced them to play 'hardball' with other autos. Or this is just a welcomed new direction for the sporty side of Lexus.

ABOUT DAMN TIME Lexus ads needed a big shaking up and I'm glad to see them get aggressive with all the negatively they have been hit with this year.
Ads are VERY effective, simple to understand and get right to the point. Notice they only mention BMW, Benz and now AUDI.
ES ad-brilliant, shows what is standard with the ES and how it would be stripped if it was German
IS-mentions how it has more torque, hp than the others while dancing between them
LS simulator-BRILLIANT, "worlds first/only" mentioned. Might confuse people who think that is not an actual LS but its all a computer though. The narrator does mention it is a real car.
It is very unusual for Lexus to mention others but not the first time they have been in an ad. Remember the GS ad where it braked and the German cars fell off the cliff b/c it did not break in time.
I think 2010s Lexus/Toyota beating AWOKE some people. Glad to see this.
