ATL Caffeine & Octane....599 GTO content inside...
I just got back and will share more pics later. Still geeked up about seeing 1 of 500 Ferrari 599 GTO's. Ferrari of Atlanta was gracious enough to bring one to this monthly meet. The sheer presence in person is hard to match, not just b/c it is a big 2 door but b/c it just looks "special". There is a magic to it that is hard to explain in pictures.
What a lucky couple of weeks to see a LFA and 599 GTO
At the end the Ferrari guys loaded it up on their trailer. Dozens of people gather to see it on the move, it's actually quite sedate idling and moving slowly.
The guy then gave us a treat and revved it a few time while it was loading. What a glorious sound, superb.
Good show Ferrari, Good show!!
There were a lot of people out today and the lot was filled. I will post pics of the other sweet rides soon. I just had to quickly share the GTO pics!

There's actually 599 being sold, not 500, but I like the matching mirrors stripes and brake calibers. Looks REAL good. Wheels still look small to me though, and a big bite off the ones on the LFA, but besides that, the car is flawless

They're the same design, and for a car that's supposed to be unique i don't see why they would go with the same as the LFA. Of course you can change wheels eventually, but they do look like the one's on the LFA, they just don't have the type of finish on them.

The Ferrari's roar made one little guy break down in howling tears. I guess the V-12 doesn't sound so awesome when you're not even 2 years old.
The guy driving the BB into the truck was clearly just barely qualified to drive. He was having huge issues getting it lined up. It's probably good he didn't rev it. Who knows what might have happened.
