Talking A few Bugatti Veyron facts!

1.) Flat out, its turbos will suck in more air than the driver will breath in 4 days.
2.) For a set of replacement tires you will pay $17,000 USD.
3.) After its factory test drive, its put in a light tunnel, and hand cleaned and polished 2 days...then put under its specially built cover and shipped to its customer.
4.) Its front and rear frame, as well as gas tank are built out of air craft grade stainless steel, and welded using the same methods as on airplanes.
5.) The air brake alone provides 70% of what a normal cars disk brakes provide on the road.
6.) Its disk brakes are made of high tech Carbon, Ceramic and titanium.
7.) It can go from its top speed of 253mph, to 0 in nearly 10 seconds.
8.) Its wing has a sensor which tells it what degree to tilt at for optimum stability at various speeds...if this sensor malfunctions, the car looses all stability at high speeds and a safe braking from high speeds to 0 will be extremely dangerous and could result in total loss of control.

Thanks National Geographic!

How long will the turbo have to spin to accomplish this feat?

Here is another one, the Veyrons engine actually makes around 3000hp but 2000hp is lost due to heat/drivetrain/cooling, a replacement transmission for a Veyron costs $120,000. I just saw the making of the Veyron and the car is such a technical marvel and achievement. There has never been nor will there ever be a car like it.

I hope not. People can't drive. I don't think we can fly.

If its all automated. I still wouldn't fly.

Yikes. This is almost a death trap if one decides to go fast and something happens. One malfunction and the car will be air born rolling and tumbling. Ever seen an air plane crash? It either burst into flames or disintergrates completely or a combination of both. Air plane material although light weight is not very structuraly sturdy and the cars gas tank is made and build out of the same thing. Yikes x2

I think the info is a bit outdated Since the new bugatti came out. Tested on top gear to go 270mph. There are 4 turbochargers on a w16 motor which is why it sucks in so much air.
