BMW first: Adaptive Headlights on a motorcycle!
We have adaptive headlights in our cars. Why not motorcycles?!?
Click on pic for video:
Quote:
The new BMW K1600GT will feature an optional Adaptive Headlight - an electronic system will adjust the headlight’s beam to compensate for front and rear pitch as well as lean angle, keeping the beam flat and optimized for best visibility at night.
This is the first time a system of this kind has ever been fitted to a motorcycle. Watch the video to see how it works.
Official pics to be released soon!!!

It's about freakin' time! That's awesome. EVERY modern motorcycle should have this technology.

I wonder how they figure out the lean angle of the bike to calculate how much to move the lights.
