what does es, ls, stand for

Anyways, from what I remember from the Taste of Lexus a few years ago, from talking to one of the Engineers, he mentioned that IS stood for Individual Sedan. It makes sense if you think about it since it is different from the models by not being numb, soft, and sportier. But since the IS-C came out, Independent Sedan goes out the door.

The RX stood for Recreational Cross-Terrain from what I remember him telling me too.

Umm, correction I think - it's not "kutz" it's "kurtz" which does mean short in German.
