I know it was limited to 205 mph. So taking off the limiter = a modification.

And if its a stock engine and it can go to 253 mph, it honestly puts the Veyron to shame.

 

They are gorgeous in person. What a great car!

 

If I'm not mistaken this car is making @ 1,400hp! I'd say its been slightly modded.
Did ya'll notice how effortlessly it hit that speed? It seemed it had a lot more to go!

 

that def had a diffrent bottom end they can only handle just over 1000hp.still sick

 

There are stock motor'd GT's that have seen over well 1000 rwhp with twins and 900+ rwh with a big whipple and not be stressed or near taxed, not to say this one wasnt. But they come fully forged from the factory and can take alot of huff in stock form. Shelby GT500's share the same motors almost with the difference bieng the GT500 come with an iron block and non dry sump oiling systems to save costs, and there are plenty of those pounding out 900hp with a big whipple and well over 1000hp on twins on stock internals with dedicated fuel systems. So i wouldnt be suprised in the least if this one was running stock internals. Check out the 1500 rwhp Dyno Vid i posted above.

 

Ford GT's have been a childhood dream of mine, gotta luv that top speed and the sound that goes with it.
