This video made my local news today. This is what rubbernecking can result in since the driver says he was watching the news crew and police and then BAM!

I'm sorry but new's crews don't ever take THAT much attention off the road for me.....

Apparantly a cop had already gotten there beforehand. Makes you wonder why that cop hadn't put up flares, or closed the road down. The road, by then, was obviously impassible.

(Maybe he was a motorcycle cop and didn't have the necessary equipment with him to shut things down)

 

Things like that happen. Glad everyone is allright, and nice to see that the guy isn't making up some silly excuse and just being honest about his fault.

 

that rockslide still has not been cleared up? lol. Where are they detouring the traffic? I remember hearing about the rockslide when I went to get married in Gatlinburg
