I was looking for a project car and I came across this beauty.
Im in love. Anyone else agree! Although I dont remember seeing this in the movies.

ehhhh, why buy a movie car that was thrashed in the desert? why not just a regular RX7?

was just driven by a stunt guy. 4th one has been out a while. rims and CF hood look like they could be worth something.

+1, that thing will have every problem imagineible. I wouldn't buy a car off a set.

Volo is literally 10 mins away from me - they supposedly have a lot of movie cars and such for sale. Their prices are always stupid high - they think that just because a vehicle is associated with a film that it adds a huge value.

If the car and the movie both suck, it's still not worth anything. That thing looks so frankensteined - I wouldn't go near it. The ONLY reason to charge that much is if they have itemized paperwork showing some serious engine mods or something. But since it's a movie car, odds are it's bone stock underneath.

To the OP - you said you're in love? with what exactly?? The movie? The look they were after (and miserably failed) on the car? Put down the alcohol and step away from your computer!!!

 

I don't remember seeing an RX-7 with mix match body kit panels with a primer paint job. I say save your money, but definitely look for something else.

If you answer 1, then by all means buy it and enjoy it... BUT... just remember they'll be alot of other guys thinking 2.
