Don't forget that on a Maxima you can only get a CVT transmission. I'm not sure if I'm sold on that setup....

Maxima is definitely sick but I need the luxury name, status, etc. The only thing that I'm worried about the G37 is that Infiniti really isnt a recognized luxury brand. Whereas the C300 is a benz, so ill get recognition and respect...hmm this is tough

And before anyone tries to jump on you, those are legitimate concerns. Good luck and thanks for keeping us updated.

G37 gets my vote. Better power and handling and still has that sport feel. The benz has no ***** and the ES350 isnt for me. It really depends on what you value most in your cars

Trust me bro, once you step foot in that G, and give that puppy a spin you'll be sold.

I think you need to get therapy before buying a car.

Which is why I posted that is the "reality" of it and a legitimate concern not just for the O.P but a lot of potential buyers. Fans and owners should not get butthurt over that reality.

Only in Utopia does image/brand not matter.

Knock off the personal insults. He has a legitimate concern.

It looks nice, but it does look a little dated both inside and out

My vote gets the G37....then the C350 sport. I'd just completely scratch the ES off the list

I didn't go through the complete thread but why the ES350 instead of an IS? The benz and infiniti that your comparing are compeitiors to the IS. Over the three that you have chosen, I'd say the G37, good looking car that has a nice interior.

If you are after respect for your car choice, you won't get much respect for a C class Mercedes from anyone who knows much about cars. More like "you paid that much for a compact car with no rear seat room and plastic seats?" Any car enthusiast will be impressed with the G37 for its combination of handling, performance, room, reliability, and most importantly value.

If your most important criteria is looks and brand (with back seat room of course), then get a BMW 323i and make it look like a 335i. I believe the space in the back is a bit more decent than the IS...
