The 4 BMW SUVs together
Adding more bread winners to the lineup won't hurt though
.
But I do agree Lexus needs a new SC, and a few Coupes, and maybe a few more convertibles.
But for comparisons sake, Lexus has only 1 CUV in their lineup and most of the competition has 3 (and BMW will soon have 6 if you include their tall GT models). BMW also is making M versions of all their CUVs so I don't see a problem if Lexus did the same. It would also help amortize the costs of the expensive high powered F engines if they were shared with not only sedans, but CUVs, and Coupes etc.

Don't forget also about CAFE standards.
Lastly, Lexus has one CUV because it is the right everything for it's market. The competitors are try to create niches for themselves so they can try and recreate the success. All while up till recently the RAV4 was still better than most of them. lol.
I leased an X3 a couple years ago, a 2004 model, and I absolutely LOVED it.
I loved the size of it. Smaller then the rest of crossovers and SUV's but yet bigger then a sedan. I had the sport edition too. It handled very sporty and was a great car to take up in the snow. If I could, i would lease it again.
