well first big problem i see is that you cant see anything from the inside... ;-).

Interesting device, but some states may not allow its sale or use, due to their own tinting laws. Of course, that may not mean much in reality, as it would be a difficult law to enforce...like trying to stop people from using cell-phones while driving.

Yes I know this is a really old thread but I've been trying to find out any updates on this concept?

Hate the "white or opaque" look to the tint. Would prefer to be able to have the tint on the front windows match the rear ones. Then turn clear when I need it. Tint on the front windows of any kind is illegal in NJ.
