Nope. He can't even beat Hamilton's wet (and oily) time (there's a video of Hamilton's run in the link above BTW). Surely isn't helping the general perception that Button's WDC is more car than driver.

I know people just seem to say he won the WDC because of his car. But the car is only as good as the driver is! If the car is good it gives the driver more confidence and the driver can do his bit possibly get a bit more than 100% out of the car and the setup. Remember strategies plays a very big part in F1 as well other than the car and the driver. Infact Rubens has the same car and the red bulls are on the same pace too. I suppose all in all he is a worthy champion. Tho no body knows whether he can do the same next year! I am looking forward for the next season.
