I'll have to admit that the newest Vette is growing on me. And that's saying a lot, coming from someone who despises Corvettes with a passion.

 

I have owned several and will own another when I retire, and I can tell you they respond to bolt ons like few others.

 

Nice to see vids of them in both track settings. Love the windshield instruction on the yellow Z. ha ha

I'm not a fan of what's being touted as the C7. But, then again, it took a while for the C6 to grow on me. I found some touches to get it where I like it though.

 

Looks great, is that a Z06, or did you add the wide body to a C6? Either way nice ride.

I sold my 07 and picked up a IS-F, but will pick up another vette soon.

 

I can't wait to get out of school, first thing is to get a Z06

 

Thanks for the compliment. It's a C6 with the Z06 rear widebody, Z06 style front bumper, ZR1 style sideskirts, etc. To me, no sense in having a Vette if you can't pop the top off. Now the next thing is to **** some of the hardcore guys off and put Z51 badges on it where the Z06 badges go. HA HA HA

 

The Corvette is one of the very few American cars that like. I think its an amazing performer. When you consider the performance it boggles the mind. They are selling them at 38k brand new right now

 

Great video! That is the dream to have a car that can to the race track and the drag strip and do both pretty well.

 

never really been a fan of them i do like the newer ones. THe interiors have always been cheap and ugly and i just didnt find them that comfortable to drive. I would spend my money else where but i know lots of people like them.

 

You can find a used Z06 C6 for high 30s

True. I had already put in an offer on a C5 I wanted when this C6 fell into my lap. It was a voluntary repo as the previous couple turned it in to their credit union because they couldn't affort the payment any longer. Right place, right time I guess.
