Exclamation I need help....1984 Nissan Micra..

A family member owns a 1984 Nissan Micra in a smaller Caribbean nation. I've been asked for a new radio and speakers if possible. This is a vehicle I know NILL about! Its been a challenge and fun to say the least to try to find out anything about it. I'm also looking for modded ones of this era

Can anyone point me to;
-a good place/forum for Micra information
-where to buy a radio/speakers for this vehicle
-anyone here owned one or know someone that does?

It looks like the Micra in this pic below....thanks

Apparently a UK car with an all aluminum 1.0L SOHC I4 rated at a whopping 57 ps. Here's the wiki:

Yep, a UK car that they built down the road from me in Washington, North of England back in the 80s, but you don't see them on the road anymore - gone to the great scrapyard in the sky. They were a very good, reliable, little car. To get a Nissan radio and speakers I'd guess you'd have to scour the scrapyards or try ebay. Easiest and best option is to just get an aftermarket set.

Micras were never marketed in the U.S. for two main reasons: One, many Americans did not find hatchbacks very appealing (though there are signs that is changing), and, two, the car was considered too small to be popular on American roads.....though the Smart-for-Two, Honda Fit, Scion xA, Mini Cooper, and Toyota Yaris may also be changing that conception too.

You may want to check out Wheels Jamaica, particularly in their Nissan forum,

That's a Western Hemisphere JDM paradise down there.

We had Micras here in Canada back in the 80s... might be worthwhile to check over here.
