saw a review of the GS450h and they implied the car still had a cassette player, so I'm wondering -- how many cars still have cassette players in them???

Brother's 05 Acura: Yes.

 

2002 Nissan Pathfinder=Yes
2001 Mazda MPV=Nope

 

SC430 = Yes. Even the 2010 SC430 will have it.

Monster 1100 = No. I just sing whatever comes to mind.

 

I need to go look at my '02 Jeep later.... (I checked, none).

I actually use my cassette tape though...

 

I think my SC does but I really dont pay attention... haha

 

Every single vehicle I've had thus far has cassette... and what I have right now:

1992 GS-R - did come with a cassette player, but swapped out for a single CD player about five years ago (FINALLY, after 12 years).

1999 RX300 - YES, and we USE IT !!!

2004 LS430 - YES AGAIN !!!!

Wish one of them had an 8-track, been meaning to rotate those tapes again after about 25 years....

 

Are cassettes even sold anymore? Not even trying to be funny, I just don't pay that much attention...

 

Interesting the RX has it, but the Sienna doesn't, I wonder what the reasoning behind that is.

I actually like the one in the RX because I use it for the iPod, and the one in the GS was actually used for an audio tape one time...
