All I see is the rust on the wimpy rotors and the rust under the car.
assume you're joking... rust water on the ground is from the crappy stand the car is on and rust on rotors happens on ALL cars left for any time in damp conditions and goes away on first use of brakes.
surprise surprise... by your logic an rx350 is a 50 grand highlander.
Hardly. The MKX is, in fact, an Edge. Just like a Navigator is an Expedition. There are differences, yes, but a RX350 is so far removed from the Highlander, they don't even look somewhat similar. Everything on the RX from the suspension/driveline, up, is different. Not so with the Edge/MKX
Guess I'll be the first one to say, but I think this looks damn good. I really don't care for the standard MKX because of the excessive chrome, but now that it has been toned down and blacked out I think this thing looks good. Those look like the 22" rims off the Edge Sport, which has gotten somewhat poor reviews for ride quality. Maybe Lincoln worked around the issue, but even if they didnt...I like that.
Kudos to Ford/Lincoln for mixing it up a little. Might appeal to a wider audience (aka a little younger) at minimal cost to FoMoCo. I wouldn't spend $50k on it though. Although most will be discounted.
