Default Make Faymester Keep Her !Gen IS300 Thread!!!

Regardless of my advice via PM, let's get a collective group to reinforce Fayme's necessity to keep her IS300. They are becoming more rare every day. I loved mine having driving it for 4 years and will buy another one as a toy project car. Let's help our fellow sister make a good decision and keep it!!!

We love you Fayme (Chicago Guys)!!!

I want her to keep the IS, but I would want an E46 M3 too if I were her
I think it's best to have both

Kmart? Dude...

Fayme...don't listen to Brian, He's been in the Vomit Comet too many times. The boy is not right anymore.

My brother has a M3 and loves it...He would actually come up here and stab Brian with swizzle sticks for trying to tell you otherwise.

I had the IS300, great car, but I wouldn't keep it over an e46. Sorry!

Get rid of the IS300 only if replacing it with a motorcycle...

Wow, what a weird coincidence. I noticed this morning that there aren't any
1 IS roaming around, unlike the 2GS and the 2 IS

IS over an M3......heck no
Until the maintenance cost on the M and the LR eat her alive, then we'll see

Keeping an IS over replacing it with an E46 M3? Haha Sorry but I couldn't in good conscience tell her not to sell it... haha

Let's let the lady make up her own mind, shall we? We can give her our opinions, and advice, but only she knows what her driving needs are best.

I had an IS300 myself, one of the uncommon bright yellow ones......I kept it for almost 5 years. Many things I liked about the car....and in some ways, it was one of the best cars I ever owned. But, eventually, I got tired of its poor wet/winter traction, even with electronic traction aids and all-season tires. It also had a couple of transmission-shift ECU quirks and a quirky automatic recirculate/fresh-air system on the climate control.

Yeah I'd jump to the M3 from the IS 300. Or maybe payoff the IS300 and then pick up a M3.
