Default After 7 1/2 Years with the GS, it was time...

The GS was my dream car since I first saw it. I finally got my first GS3 in Feb 2002 then another in 2005. It was the car that got me on ClubLexus and made me spent lots of $$$$$$ on mods.
It was a great ownership experience with bulletproof Lexus reliability, and fortunately almost ZERO dealer visits.

Here is a pic from the past.......

Pic from a meet last year....

Last day with the car, she is all stripped but still lookin good as new....

As far as the new ride.....I wanted to stay with Lexus but no cars really did it for me. The only car I liked was the 3GS, and even that was not perfect bec I could not get a RWD GS350 and its almost impossible to find a used 3GS 430. I searched for 3 months and even went to boston to look at one.

Anyway I got a 335i M Sport coupe - Alpine White/Coral Red interior with Nav........It offers the perfect combo of looks, luxury, and sport. Honestly, if it wasn't for the Msport package that came out in April, I would not have gotten the 3, but that put it over the top for me.

So far the has been GREAT and I custom ordered the car from the colors to every option, something that is not possible with Lexus.

Some pics........

That is a sharp looking 335i you got there. Maybe the GS-F will have you coming back. Hehe

yeah someone else was telling me in the NE most of the 3GS are the AWD ones that looks like it's horribly jacked up at the front.

sweet, sweet, car.

yup, been saying it for years, toyota's 'lean production' is at odds with the luxury experience of getting what you want! the attitude is still "buy what's on the lot, or, well... good luck with that, yeah we can order, but it'll take forever."

sweet ride man

haha don't forget to stick up for us little "lexus" folk if (when ) you encounter the anti-lexus snobbery at the bmw forums

imo the alpine white/coral red combination on the 335i is just sexy as hell

congrats man. I know that car is bad *** because its the very same I was thinking of getting before I got the GS350. The car is a performer and yet has just as supple of a ride as the Lexus. Its just to tiny for me

Beautiful choice congrats!! AW/Coral red ftw.. Which trim did you get? Looks like there will be a number of white 3 series coupe owners Many of whom are/were Lexus GS owners...
