I see a picture of a 80's Camaro or Trans Am with a cow on it and a old pickup truck in the pic near your sig, if it is not just for a joke and you are a fan of those types of car then maybe a NSX is not something you would like because a NSX is nothing like a 80's Camaro/Trans Am.
That sig pic is from an episode of Top Gear; one of the best episodes made IMHO. Also, I would slice off one of my ********* to have a 2003 NSX.
To the OP, opinions very and you are certainly entitled to yours.
I was lucky enough to take one of these on a long drive back in the mid 90s and absolutely fell in love with it. I found the fit and finish to be superb and the driving it,,, wow it truly was telepathic. Some people happily use NSXs as daily drivers, some take them to the track, but for me I'd like to have it as weekend cruiser!
I guess you've figured out by now I personally fall into the following category

When you see one NSX in such a poor condition, it doesn't mean that every NSX will eventually fare the same way.
The guy who owned it probably treated it badly. As someone as said, maybe it was involved in an accident and poorly repaired? I can picture boy racers with the necessary cash purchasing one and literally abusing the hell out of it. Such abuse will eventually be seen and felt on any car in the long term.

I think you are wrong. The NSX's all aluminum body feels solid and very well constructed. The interior may look like just another Honda but remember this was back when Honda actually did quality interiors...and the NSX is no different.
Probably the best thing about this car was that using it as a daily driver was not out of the question.
NSXs are the biggest pile of dog poop ever produced on the planet. Don't buy one, it's not cool, it's got veeetack, they blow up when you divide by zero, and child molesters drive one.
everyone should go buy a domestic and support the economy...
so the prices of NSX will tank and then maybe I can afford a NSX!!
NSX is still one of the best looking sports cars out there in my eyes, along with F355, 360 Modena, F430, FD RX-7, and Aston Martin Vanquish. It is a very timeless design, but I admit the interior is very very dated.
Sorry fellas, the NSX is a good/fun car and an engineering master piece for its time but it isnt worth 25k + for one that is 19 years old no matter what the mileage and condition is. Just off the top of my head ... C5 Z06 vette, C6 vette, CTS-V, e46 m3, ls1 fd rx7, 996, would all be newer cars for the same or less $$ that I would take over an NSX.
BTW, you can throw the MKIV supra in this same category.

i'm simply amazed you didnt mention or try to compare it with a VW of some sort.
