Want some action; publish the company's email address and they'll be inundated by hundreds if not thousands of inflamed potential customers. Believe me, that'll get their attention, pronto!
Good Luck!

Just sent them an email, addressed to management. The response was that their "technical team will get back to me."
I don't think they celebrate the 4th of July there. ROFLMFAO

I sent a very professional email stating how they need to rethink their customer service practices. I have never believed in bashing, being rude or vulgar when trying to get my point across

Dont make it to nasty because that will get you nowhere. Be professional, polite but get your point across

LOL I got a response from them and its kinda what I figured they would respond, but it was worth a try.

I will tell you this much after checking other forums...................these guys really are pretty crappy to do business with and unfortunately the OP got hosed on this matter and I would be really surprised if they even respond to him. OP just so you know Mike Huml at Slowboy is saying he never spoke with you about any Tein Springs and is not happy about having issues posted on websites, but regardless I will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere whether or not this story is entirely true. Just the response I got from them tells me they live and die by policies and are not customer friendly in anyway. Yes I have never purchased from them, but I was considering it after reading this post and many other posts in different places and judging by their lack of customer service I will not purchase anything from there.

I've contacted the moderators since this might be a potential issue with their sponsorships.

Many thanks to all for your support
Funny enough, I've posted it on a local board, and all I got was bashing from all the different local shop owners.
It may also be the demographics of this board vs the local board

I highly doubt I will get anything out of this deal, but at least if I can save another shopper the headache, then it'll be all good.

I'll post this on a few other forums, and I'll let it die down.

I can understand where both parties are coming from. I understand they have a policy in place for a reason and dont want to lose money and I understand how frustrated you are because you are $250 with nothing to speak of for it. While I generally side with owners/dealers seeing how I am a business owner myself (nothing to do with cars), but if all you are asking for is an exchange and not a refund I feel the company should honor that exchange regardless of the 30 day policy or not seeing how it is their mistake and not yours.

With that being said if the springs are f'ed up from installing/opening then sorry but you dont have a leg to stand on in my opinion. IF they are new and you have conflicting part numbers on your receipt and the product then it is their mistake and they should man up and make an exception to keep the customer happy regardless of the return policy.

Customer service is the biggest asset to a company and making exceptions at certain points makes a huge difference. I spend well over $10k a year with online purchases between cars, business supplies and misc other things and I do all kinds of research on the places I purchase from prior to spending money. The number one factor in where I spend my money is how their customer service is and if it is bad I will not consider that company no matter how good their prices are. Everyone has different criteria on why they purchase where they do. Most people are price, some shipping cost etc..... mine is customer service and after doing research on SlowBoy I will not be purchasing from them anytime soon. All it takes is a few bad reviews to push me away from purchasing and having a bbb score of D and all the other reviews......well its clear to me where I will not be going.

Judging by the email I received from them, they dont want me as a customer no more than I want to be one. After all I'm taking the word of a "forum *****" (slowboy reps words) LOL. I understand that I dont know the whole story on either side but reading everything I'm more inclined to take a "forum *****s" word over a company with a declining rep.

Well I hope it all works out for you, but I honestly dont know if they will admit their mistake and make up for it.

SBR is a POS shop that thrives upon screwing people over by selling new pistons that were used, "built" motors with tolerances looser than a thai hooker and business practices that make Madoff appear to be the Pope. I am an admin on TeamNABR.com and can provide you with plenty of customer experiences. Also, posting to BBB won't make a difference to them either. Sorry for your experience with them.

LOL well honestly companies like this need to learn their lesson and getting info such as this in as many places as possible is the only way to do so. Yeah I kinda figured posting on BBB would not do much in the way of helping this customer out, but letting everyone else know how bad they are is a good thing.

just dump the springs on Ebay and take your business elsewhere - I agree they should exchange but screw it and move on.
