Does Lotus represent the perfect mix between manufacturers???
I recently read a few articles on the Lotus Evora. In light of the fact that they seem to be getting all of their engines from Toyota its been making me wonder if the cars they produce can be beaten in terms of its cross breeding. IMO you have the best european handling characteristic, mixed with feather weight, and a solid bullet proof Japanese motor. I think the guys at Lotus are on the right track and have married solid engine performance with world class handling , braking, steering response.
I was wondering if you guys have any " hyrid" or half breed cars that you like ?? There are plenty out there if you look. The Weisman is another for example.
The Zonda is a good one as well, but I ike the fact that the Evora has a Japanese engine. The euro to euro hybrids are very nice, but dont seem as well rounded as the Lotus

Do hotrods count? If so, I'm juggling the idea of an LSx V8 swap into the RX, vs getting an Elise. The former is at least a popular American meets Japanese project.
Light-weight chassis and robust engines are great fun.
Thats a good one actually, but the RX7 doesnt come with a vette motor from GM. I have read many articles on swapped RX7s and it looks like its getting popular
