Interesting stuff.

Personally, even if both cars have neat design, I always prefer the Nissan Fuga/Infiniti M over the Lexus GS.

Still, let's wait and see.

Doubt that happens. I expect it to stay firmly in GS, 5-Series territory. There's more volume in that segment anyway.

 

I think the cycle is about right. 2006 to 2010. The current M and GS also debuted within months of each other.

 

I wonder if its going to have the 390hp from the FX50, Can't wait to see what it looks like.

 

It will be above 400 hp. However I hope it feels like 400 hp.

 

Infiniti with their crazy designs (at least for SUVs), Im sure it will be very polarizing

 

If it were to compete with the LS I think it would have missed it's target.

It'll probably just look like a larger G37 with a 5 liter... haha j/k

 

sigh. i have good feelings about this car. new VK50 engine, stunning essence concept, and that nissan/infiniti feeling that you can abuse the car a bit and not worry about anything.

 

I thought some leak would occur but forgot this was a virtual display. lol

Im wondering if theyll show the interior or not becasue the announcement only mentions being able to see a virtual display of what the vehicle looks like (exterior wise)

will know tomorrow...i am kinda anxious to see how this looks...the current one in my honest opinion is arocious in and out. Exterior is so beefed up like they tried way too hard to make it look better than a nissan...and the back is just plain awful - way too busy that they totally screwed it all up. Interior perhaps is a tad better but not by much either. I dont think it looks good.

 

i don't like the current M35 look either. looks like a lastgen maxima.

but i'll give em a chance after seeing the Essence.

if it looks ugg tomorrow night, i'll just................ laugh. uncontrollably.

I'm really excited about this car. The current M is one of my favorites and I think that Infiniti will really hit this out of the park.

Plus... 330HP VVEL engine and 400HP 5.0L V8. Schweeeet

 

I can't wait to see this car myself. I have a soft spot for cars in this segement. 400+hp V8 & sleek sheet metal may be enough to ditch a certain black car in the garage.

 

Not sure if I like the grille, headlights are sexy though.
