I'm a first-time Lexus owner, and so far have been just blown away by the customer service. Any time I drop my car off for service, I'm treated with total white-glove treatment...I'll receive emails inviting me to special VIP events...etc.
I've owned BMW and Mercedes, and never had an experience like this. I can't possibly be alone here, right?

Welcome to Clublexus and glad you love the service. You are not alone.

Good to hear some good stories about Lexus as all it has been is complaining of late.
I also am lucky as are any of the other customers at our dealership to recieve first class service.
I've seen very good to excellent customer service at my Lexus dealership, but one of the local Mercedes dealerships also is about equal based on my actual experiences.

How so? I mean, give me an idea of what your service experience at Mercedes was like.
I like Lexus service, but their complementary wash and vaccuming is weak at best. Some times I wonder if they do it at all.
Secondly, the loaner cars we get usually smell like smoke and so does our car when we get it back, suggesting that the transporters smoke in the cars. This is just plain unacceptable in my book. I don't let anyone smoke in my Subaru. Its not okay for someone to smoke in our Lexuses.
Service experiences tend to vary from dealer to dealer regardless of the brand. Without getting into too much detail I've had nothing but good experiences from my dealer, but I know others have had negative experiences at the same place. Also, I occasionally take my dad's E for service and at one MB dealer I was treated like a kid driving daddy's car and at the other I was treated as well as at a Lexus dealer.

It was excellent on my ML350 suv. I was assigned one service advisor via my salesperson (who knew I was car-savy) who happened to be a master tech and the assistant service manager. I worked through him exclusively with excellent results for all warranty and service appointments and he had excellent knowledge and gave excellent advice.
